Our square targets are cut from 3/8″ SR500 steel. These plates are produced for our own SR500 target line. Compare the specific plate size, thickness, mounting and intended use when choosing a target; the steel name alone does not establish a universal performance advantage.

• Finish: Mill scale (bare steel — recommend paint or sealer for outdoor storage)

Safe Shooting Distances

• Pistol calibers: 15 yards minimum
• Centerfire rifle (.223, .308, etc.): 100–200 yards minimum depending on caliber
• Do not use steel-core, armor-piercing, or bi-metal ammunition
